5 productivity tips to work effectively from anywhere

Last week my family & I moved into short term accommodation while our timber floors were getting sanded & sealed again…

My workspaces for the week were home for most of Monday while I waited for the tradesmen to arrive, then a mixture of the apartment and a coworking space for the rest of the week.

My job is what I do, not where I do it & I had some big deliverables to achieve for the week!!!

My 5 tips to maximise productivity regardless as to where I’m working are:

✔️ Have a plan for the week and use timeboxing to schedule each day

✔️ Don’t get swayed by distractions or interruptions

✔️ Work in sprints

✔️ Manage energy and time

✔️ Measure outcomes and adapt as necessary

While working effectively from anywhere starts with mindset, it’s the techniques that provide the substance for consistent results.

I’m sharing this because blended models of sometimes working in the office, at home, in a café, a coworking space etc will become more common as we move forward.

Those with the ability to work from anywhere will reap the rewards.
