5 Ideas That Actually Make Sense When Restrictions Ease

Imagine if a situation presented an opportunity to improve but no-one did anything about it and just went back to what they were doing previously.

It’d be kind of dumb wouldn’t it?

This is what businesses are going to be faced with as COVID-19 forced many of us who were working in offices into a virtual work environment.

While experiences have been varied, wouldn’t it be great if we could maintain the positive aspects going forward?

Experts are saying work will never be the same when restrictions are eased. How that plays out could go a number of ways…

There are though a bunch of opportunities to drive efficiencies that flow onto business ROI and employee quality of life.

Improvements I hope to see are:

👉 Fewer meetings but the meetings held are more impactful
👉 Flexible working offered by more companies
👉 A combination of virtual and in person conferences
👉 Travel reducing significantly due to the wider acceptance of video conferencing
👉 Better work life integration
 
These improvements are only just scratching the surface. However, not even any of these will be possible if they’re not focused on as initiatives.

Now is the ideal time to redefine how we work.
